US lost the war against Jihad

In the Muslim world, members of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and so on, many government’s readily embraced the war on terror by enlisting their police, secret services and even their political party grassroots to ‘aid’ the US in its war on terrorism. Some countries even brandished their anti-Human rights records to prove they were on track against ‘Islamic terrorism’.The US lost the war against ‘Jihad’ and the ‘Jihadists’ and has decided to change the way its ‘war’ is to be called, turning it into a more political battle than an religious battle. What does this mean for Muslim government’s that has, since 911, went headlong into supporting the US in its global anti-Muslim war?
Did the US win the war on terrorism? Did it defeat the ‘enemy’ which it called ‘jihadists’? Did it succeed in changing ‘Muslims’ from being staunchly independent people to become the ‘slaves’ of the US? No. Washington under George W. Bush and his sponsors failed. Here we tell you why. The Department of Home Security (DHS) now urges its officials not to mention ‘jihad’ or ‘mujahideen’ or even ‘Islamic terrorists’ in their statements. What was the aim of the ‘crusade’ launched in 2001 by Bush against Islam? It was to conquer more Muslim land, to submit the Muslim masses to the rule of the ‘new Roman empire’ and to control the strategic resources and routes that are in Muslim hands. They failed for the simple reason that not many people across the world bought the ‘war’ on terrorism and very little people believed in the genuine of this war.The US now says the ‘civilized world is facing a ‘global’ challenge, which transcends geography, culture, and religion,” and called on Americans and officials to stop attacking Islam for that matter. Now they want to broaden the war on terror and stop the down slope for the US in what has become the ‘US V/S Islam’ war.To DHS’s Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties the challenge is now political more than religious since they have understood that by launching an ugly war against Islam from 2001 till today, they only encouraged Muslims to join the Osama Bin Laden groups and other groups that urges Muslims to fight against Americanism and western domination. In the Muslim world, members of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and so on, many government’s readily embraced the war on terror by enlisting their police, secret services and even their political party grassroots to ‘aid’ the US in its war on terrorism. Some countries even brandished their anti-Human rights records to prove they were on track against ‘Islamic terrorism’.Pakistan, Yemen, Jordan, now Iraq and Afghanistan, for a long time now Uzbekistan and to a lesser extent Malaysia and Indonesia as well as other Arab nations like Egypt and Saudi Arabia had followed the US in the lead to ‘catch’ Muslims and jail them for being ‘suspected’ terrorists. In the UK, France, Spain and other parts of the world the government’s used the war on terror as an excuse to check on their growing Islamic or Muslim populations, even expelling if not jailing and sending the jail birds to ‘Guantanamo’.The Muslim world used the war on terrorism to address ‘Islam’ in many other ways that might have been thought impossible before 911, such as the idea that ‘Islamic schools’ or ‘Madrassahs’ were anti-islamic in nature because they were preaching ‘extremism’. From terrorism to extremism, the line was thinly drawn and the Muslim leaders and governments in many cases abused the terms and abused their people too. Some leaders in the Islamic world even suggested that the ‘Quraan’ was not practical in many ways in the world today and some business leaders even told WorldFutures that it was not possible to practice Islam the Quraanic way today because it was simply not ‘practical’.All these were said and done thanks to the US war on terrorism, which turned out to be a war against Islam and Muslims worldwide. WorldFutures, since its inception, insisted that there was no war against terror but a rather global war against Muslims and Islam and today it is proven that it was true. With the DHS shifting its guns to the ‘political’ aspects of the war on terror, it is admitting that it was the sponsor of a war against Islam and that the Bush administration was trying to ‘win’ a war of civilizations. Now that puts the Muslim leaders who were fighting hand in hand with Bush in a very despicable position! Now in the US, many extremist Americans are finding it hard to believe that the US does not want to recognize the Islamic component in the terrorist networks that they say is still a threat confronting the US. By condoning a war of civilization, the regime of G. W. Bush destroyed many of the civil liberties that the American people gained in the last century. However, the return to the ‘political’ war will not bring back the lost liberties for the American people, alas. The DHS is also telling the American people that the new guidance on terrorism is a ‘strategy for influencing an outside audience, Muslims living beyond our shores,’ but it seems a bit too late to win the hearts and minds of the Muslim outside the US shores. The damages of the war against ‘Madrassah’s” and against the ‘Quraan’ is huge and it has become an impenetrable wall. The US under Bush will again fail in its strategy to win back those who were before 911, US supporters. For the DHS today, Islam is not a part of the problem but a key part of the solution. The guidance reflects a purpose to influence the agency’s most important inside audience: the American people, says some critics in the US.The DHS also says the following: “The fact is that Islam and secular democracy are fully compatible — in fact, they can make each other stronger. Senior officials should emphasize this positive fact.”U.S. officials may be "unintentionally portraying terrorists, who lack moral and religious legitimacy, as brave fighters, legitimate soldiers or spokesmen for ordinary Muslims," added the Homeland Security report.Hence, the purging of terms such as: jihadism, Islamo-fascism, and mujahideen from the US government’s and the public lexicon. The US, finally, want to portray Osama Bin Laden as the new illegal war lord who want to topple the western civilization not for ‘religious’ reasons since they now say OBL has no ‘religious’ or ‘Islamic’ credibility. As if the US was ever right in judging OBL’s ‘religious’ or ‘political’ ambitions!
